Exciting Times

Phil (our new Associate Pastor) and Kirsten marked their new beginning with us by being baptised as believers at the evening service on 8th November.  It’s an exciting and challenging new development for us, and our pastors (!) have both been teaching on the subject.  Nigel spoke on the challenge to go forward and respond with faith not fear.  Phil spoke from the prophecy of Haggai, bringing the challenge to find fulfilment in prioritising God’s kingdom rather than our own comfort and convenience -  listen again .  Phil and Kirsten were among a group of five who were welcomed into membership on 15th November and Phil was inducted as Associate Pastor.

Get Ready for The Wave!

Saturday 5th December, 10:30 am Bellahouston Park - join people from across Scotland to send a clear message about climate change to world leaders meeting in Copenhagen for the UN climate change negotiations.  The Wave will be a fun, family-friendly march  where a diverse range of people can come together to show their concern about climate change.  Similar demonstrations will be taking place across the world at this time - more
