There are two mice in the church.
Gwendoline’s door has been blocked now.
I guess she has another way of getting in.
On Sunday 14 October Mike Marshall and Karen Gray (Harry and May Gray’s daughter) were married at Crieff Hydro. Our Pastor, Nigel Heath conducted the marriage and many folk from the fellowship joined the family to celebrate the occasion.

Seriously Pink
The ‘Get in the Pink’ night in the church on Tuesday 23 October was quite something. There must have been about 100 women there in pink (and one or two young men too). The church was seriously pinkly decorated. The main event was the auction of pink items and, in the course of an entertaining evening, £1150 was raised for Breast Cancer Care. Lloyds TSB have generously added £500 to this bringing the total to £1650. Well done to Frances and her team.

Under the spoon, the most expensive washing basket in Scotland?

Last weekend was quite something at WBC. We started with the Men’s Breakfast with Alastair Noble bringing us a fascinating and beautifully crafted address.
Next was the walk in Mugdock Country Park which was much enjoyed by a wide age range.
On Sunday morning we had our Harvest Service, with Tara Devlin of Tearfund. She brought us a lively and challenging programme calling us to be involved in prayer and giving on behalf the world’s poor. We had lunch together after this .
On Sunday evening we had a brilliant baptism service. The place was packed as friends and family came to support Ally Heath, Lisa Brown, Hannah Charters and Megan McEwan in their baptisms. There were a few hands reaching for handkerchiefs as the young folk told of the spiritual journeys that brought them to the point of being baptised. We heard how important their time at Soul Survivor this summer had been and we sang several of the worship songs they had learnt there.
