Children’s Church

During the Sunday morning 11:00 am service, after the children’s talk, the children leave for a different part of the building for Children’s Church.

It’s a lively group of 3 - 11 year-olds who meet together on Sunday mornings in a relaxed atmosphere where each child is valued as an individual. Week by week, we enable the children to learn about the character of God and the teachings of Jesus through the telling of bible stories. With an understanding of bible truths, we help the children discover how a real and relevant faith can be applied in practical ways to their own lives.  We encourage the children to come to know the relationship
with God that is available to everyone.  We empower the children to develop
spiritually using prayer, mime, drama, song and discovering the bible for
themselves.

Parents and Toddlers

Every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 Linda and her team set up the hall to make it look like a miniature adventure playground.  Parents enjoy time together while their children play and munch toast at break time. This group is open to the community and we make no charges.

Child Protection

We have a comprehensive Vulnerable Persons Protection Policy which has recently been updated following the guidelines of the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.  We apply these procedures to all our activities to ensure the well-being of all involved in our activities.
