Kerith Counselling Service

May Gray (married to Harry, one of our Elders) had the vision for The Kerith Counselling Service.  May and her team have developed it into a very valuable resource for East Kilbride.

We run Alpha Courses from time to time.  It’s a ten week course which covers all you need to make an informed decision about Christianity.  Free meal, video, discussion.  No question too simple, no question too hostile.

Baptists in Scotland - through the BUS - were very generous to us when our building was constructed.  The BUS encourages, guides and supports baptist churches in Scotland.

- a wonderful Christian relief and development charity, and increasingly involved in campaigning.

Christian Ecology Link

CEL is a multi-denominational UK Christian organisation for people concerned about the Environment.

The Baptist Missionary Society.  We have links with some of their workers overseas.

Our church belongs to the EA.  It speaks up, and campaigns for evangelical Christianity with great wisdom and insight.

Members June and Paul Farrant have have had a long involvement working with Arab World Ministries.

Great resources, training and support for children’s and young people’s work in churches and schools.  Superb Christian summer holiday camps for teenagers.

Christian Action, Research and Education - a wealth of materials and support on ethical and social issues.

- hugely effective campaigning organisation.  WDM is not explicitly Christian but a lot of Christian folk are involved.

Christian Aid works in relief, development and campaigning against poverty worldwide.  Marjorie Adams is our contact person.

Marie Mackinnon works with this very effective Christian telephone counselling service.
