Youth Fellowship in (mostly) their Own Words
Why do we meet?
“Cause we want to! Cause we want to!”
We have fellowship with people our own age, help each other grow in faith, to make and build friendships and grow in maturity in faith.
What do we do?
“A group of people meeting to share their thoughts and experiences of life and Christianity. Discuss issues and become friends in the process. A comfortable environment to share.”
“We learn how to apply bible teaching to our everyday lives. Share our experiences and troubles we face”
"We talk about God, pray, worked through the Alpha Course and play games.
Who are we?
A group of like-
“Hopefully the more our youth grows the bigger the YF will become”
“15+ -
When do we meet?
Sundays after Church service at about 8 pm. We also socialise outwith this time!
Extras!
YF provides great opportunities to get involved in Church life. We have taken part in Sunday services doing drama, singing, readings. We inject a youth feel to the services and get the chance to share our gifts with the larger church family.
This year we went to Soul Survivor. Here is what the YF said about it!
“5 days in the summer where we meet together with thousands of young Christians and attend powerful worship services and practical workshops.”
“A great opportunity to worship, express your faith (wherever you are with it) and to have fun.”
“Was great! -
“ A fantastic week of worship, ministry and praise helping you to understand and grow in faith.”
How would the group sum up YF?
“One word -
“It's SMASHIN'”
“Where I can be myself without worrying what others will think”
We have a comprehensive Vulnerable Persons Protection Policy which has recently been
updated following the guidelines of the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.
We apply these procedures to all our activities to ensure the well-
